Saturday, September 6th With Clyde Joseph
🔹 Foundations of Movement: Shoulders & Hips
The primary movement of both joints: Rotation
Shoulder Movements: Internal/External Rotation, Flexion, Extension, Abduction, Adduction
Hip Movements: Internal/External Rotation, Bent-Leg Flexion, Straight-Leg Flexion, Extension, Abduction, Adduction
Rotation before Linear: The priority rule in training – with the exception of the spine
🔹 Key Concepts in Neuromechanics
Afferent vs. Efferent Signals: Understanding the nervous system’s input/output
Entropy in Human Movement: Why mobility degrades and how to counteract it
C.A.R.s (Controlled Articular Rotations): Strategies for joint health and long-term performance
🧠 Assessment & Application
Shoulder and Hip Movement Pattern Screening
Why joint-specific assessment is critical for smarter program design
Tools to identify movement limitations and program accordingly
🛠️ Practical Lab Sessions
Partner Assessments: Practice hands-on movement screens
Guided CARs Routine: Learn and teach daily mobility strategies
All of this included for just $250
